Job Title: IT ERP Project Managers

 

Job Location: Sigma-Aldrich Corporation, 400 Summit Avenue, Burlington, MA 01803

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Actively participate in the construction of project timeline;
• Accountable for the project go-live on time, within budget, and meeting or exceeding quality standards;
• Implement and adhere to prescribed methodology and significant KPIs to measure achievement of project objectives, on time, and on budget;
• Contribute actively to communications related to the project;
• Coordinate all teams involved and follow up the development activities utilizing in-house tools and methodology;
• Ensure that teams are adhering to validation rules and are using correct templates according to each phase of the project;
• Report risks and request mitigation solution(s) timely to the teams throughout project’s life cycle;
• Accountable for cutover preparation ensuring that teams are informed and preparing all tasks to be executed during and prior to go-live;
• Coordinate with Basis, authorization, training, Change Control and master data teams, and any other satellite teams involved in the project; and
• Engage in and contribute to continuous improvement in project methodology.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:

 

Employer requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and three (3) years of work experience in an ERP management occupation. In addition, the employer

requires demonstrated understanding of basic SAP gained through one (1) year of experience.

 

All years of experience may be gained concurrently.

 

25% of time will be spent on travel. 12% of the time will be domestic travel and 13% of time will be international travel. Telecommuting is an option.
