Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry, following established procedures and site-specific policies.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises to support compliance with location requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to observe for unusual conditions and report any security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including following emergency response protocols when appropriate.
• Document security-related activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees and visitors as needed.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate concerns and support a secure environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
