To learn more about Pearce visit <a href="http://www.pearce-services.com">http://www.pearce-services.com</a>.</p></div><p></p> <p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p> <p>The <strong>Advanced</strong> <strong>Solar</strong> <strong>Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance)</strong> in the PEARCE Renewables Solar Operations and Maintenance Division performs tasks involving physical labor at solar energy sites <strong>near San Jose, California.</strong> The Solar Field Service Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants in accordance with established preventative and corrective maintenance standards while always maintaining safety and professionalism. <strong>These are local sites-candidates should reside within 50 miles of the San Jose, California areas.</strong></p> <p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment.</li> <li>Responsible for documentation including, but not limited to, work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules.</li> <li>Provide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with help and use of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment.</li> <li>Testing/troubleshooting installed solar equipment and ensuring proper working order.</li> <li>Must have a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).</li> <li>Able work in a solo as well as a group environment.</li> <li>Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and
