The Difference You Make:
The Representative, Bankruptcy is responsible for the handling all Bankruptcy accounts from inception to completion and for following federal, state and district guidelines as well as policies & procedures.

  • Reviews and validates court documents, account data, and referrals to local counsel.

  • Performs timely Bankruptcy functional servicing.

  • Monitors court dockets for changes within the bankruptcy case.

  • Reviews trustee websites for compliance with the bankruptcy plan.

  • Refers litigation request to SC litigation team to submit accounts to outside counsel.

  • Services Inbound calls via Intercept/Overflowing accordance w/ Quality Assurance (QA) requirements.

  • Documents all account activity in the system of record.

  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Bankruptcy Code.

  • Escalates risk issues identified to manager.

  • Prepares Proof of Claim documentation for next level review and redacts servicing documents, including titles and contracts.

  • H.S. Diploma: - Required.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Business, Finance, or equivalent field. - Preferred.

  • 2+ Years Bankruptcy, Collections or equivalent experience. - Required

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • Ability to initiate collections process and communicate in an assertive, compassionate, respectful, and successful manner.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must have a basic working knowledge of regulations and collection policies and procedures.

  • Proficient organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to understand collection laws.

  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word skills and Excel, Internet, familiarity with collections software and programs.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Ability to maintain poise under pressure.

It Would Be Nice For You To Have:

  • Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range:

Minimum:

$38,250.00 USD

Maximum:

$59,000.00 USD
