Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company, Corporate Tax Department is seeking a Senior International Tax Specialist to join its Global Services Tax team in Renton, WA (Puget Sound area).

The ideal candidate will:

  • Focus on global aftermarket business support while addressing a broad range of US and non-US international tax areas
  • Support a variety of business initiatives, development of certain US international tax attributes, and communication and coordination of outcomes to senior tax and business leadership
  • Require global coordination on projects and deliverables, collaborating with various cross-functional stakeholders throughout the Boeing Enterprise
  • Work closely with other Tax team members, financial accountants, legal counsel, global trade/customs organization, business operations and outside consultants to ensure the provision of timely advice and guidance, accurate tax reporting, and optimum tax efficiency


Position Responsibilities:

  • Review business initiatives to identify relevant impacts to worldwide tax reporting and compliance processes for sustainable and scalable execution
  • Analyze various cross-border transactions and business structures to evaluate and understand potential US federal and Non-US tax implications
  • Communicate international tax profile to business partners and members of the tax department
  • Identify potential tax-technical and business risks while working with cross-functional teams to appropriately mitigate such risks
  • Assist with completion and review of US international Tax reporting and compliance obligations as appropriate

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in International tax
  • Experience with PowerPoint and creating presentations
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience creating and analyzing data and metrics through the use of HR systems (HRMS, PeopleSoft, Taleo, etc.) and Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with U.S. International Tax principles (e.g. Foreign Tax Credit (FTC), Foreign Derived Intangible Income (FDII) and Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI)) The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Pillar I&II, and non-US tax regimes
  • Experience in Big 4 accounting
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and instructions
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within dynamic business environment

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
