Marketing Project Management Specialist

This role is HYBRID, on-site 3 days a week at the Northbrook or Chicago, IL office.

The Marketing Project Management Specialist is responsible for enabling the flawless execution of impactful and effective Marketing campaigns and delivering a best-in-class account/customer experience for UL Solutions. Project managers at UL Solutions do this by facilitating strong foundational collaboration and communication between cross-functional teams. This role will also develop realistic timelines and shepherd projects through the review process by engaging the appropriate stakeholders and Creative team(s) for the directional inputs/outputs necessary to achieve final approval(s).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing the implementation of medium and large projects
• Provides overall leadership and support to project team members
• Lead teams through the full project life cycle for defined Marketing deliverables at UL Solutions
• Acts as front-line contact on project-related activities, issues, and risks. Manages the project interdependencies, resources risks and issues and escalates accordingly
• Ensure all projects meet all UL Solutions guidelines/requirements, are within defined scope and deliver on or before established timing need
• Manages the project’s budget and financial performance
• Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with business and Corporate Marketing peers

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED.

• Generally, two years or more of related experience or demonstrated competency.

MINIMUM SKILLS PREFERRED.

• Well versed in project management methodologies and tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Collaborative & solution focused approach
• Adept at building strong and lasting relationships with teammates and stakeholders alike
• Ability to effectively assess and prioritize all project aspects and needs to properly manage daily workflow
• Objective focus and solid analytical skills
• Consistently demonstrates leadership, accountability & diligence in all projects and interactions with teams
• Adobe Workfront experience preferred

MINIMUM ABILITIES PREFERRED.

• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
• Motivated problem solver and critical thinker.
• Strong ability to multitask.
• Strong interpersonal and relational skills written and verbal.
