A Brief Overview
Under direct supervision, performs general office support and non-complex clerical duties following established procedures and detailed instructions in assigned unit/area/department. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in MLH Mission, Vision and Values
What you will do
- Performs general office support and non-complex clerical duties.
- Demonstrates professional work behavior and customer service routinely in all interactions.
- Performs various office support duties specific to the department assigned.
- There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of modern office methods, machines, procedures, and practices including filing systems.
- Knowledge of correct English usage, spelling, and grammar.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic.
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive clerical tasks.
- Ability to alphabetize and file materials.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and deal effectively and courteously with the public, both in person and over the telephone.
- Ability to operate a computer terminal and a variety of office machines.
- Abilityy to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetical computations.
