Overview: The GE Vernova Wind Segment is actively seeking an Employee Relations Partner to play a crucial role in partnering with the Labor & Employee Relations team to support US employee relations strategy. This individual will report to Wind business segment and extend support to all GE Vernova segments to enhance positive employee strategies for our production, services, projects and operations workforce throughout the United States.
 

Essential Responsibilities
• Provide expertise and leadership in fostering positive employee relations within our services and manufacturing non-represented operations.
• Advise and coach local HR teams on matters related to employee relations.
• Proactively identify potential employee relations risks for union organizing and collaborate to mitigate these risks.
• Review and provide guidance on disciplinary actions, including termination requests, to ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees.
• Engage with business and HR stakeholders across the organization to effectively promote a positive employee relations climate and maintain Positive Employee experience. Union-Free operations.
• Collaborate with the Labor & Employee Relations team to drive key HR initiatives, including
conducting culture surveys and site assessments.
• Drive rigorous process to improve the culture of sites post assessment process.
• Lead the employee councils where applicable to resolve employee issues.
• Facilitate the strategy for employee relations learning and development.
• Mobilize and lead a “tiger team” to respond promptly to escalated employee concerns. when union
organization occurs.
• Partner with the Labor & Employee Relations team.
• Location for the role to be Schenectady, NY or Greenville, SC.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
• Minimum of 10 years of HR and/or Employee Relations experience in an hourly, non-union
environment.
• Significant experience of increasing HR responsibility (with emphasis on employee relations in a production,
maintenance, and/or services environment).
• Previous experience diagnosing employee relations challenges and implementing successful, positive
employee relations strategies in an industrial environment.
• Experience coaching site-level human resources professionals on difficult employee relations issues.
• Proven ability to drive measurable actions and change through relationships and influence.
• Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced
environment and effectively interface at all organizational levels.
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills and customer-focused “team first” mindset.
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Process and detail oriented, including strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Desired Characteristics
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations or Business Administration.
• Experience in directly and indirectly influencing, leading, developing, and coaching HR professionals and business leaders
• Proven ability to influence and build relationships at all organization levels.
• Demonstrated experience in developing comprehensive employee relations actions based on the business needs and Labor Relations strategies.
• Ability to effectively align the employee relations agenda with corporate and segment business objectives.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or operational environments.
• Competency in influencing and leading within complex, matrix, goal-drive organizations.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills aimed at achieving win-win

If contracted in the US:

The base pay range for this position is $142,000 - 236,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. This posting is expected to close on 10/2/25.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
