Senior Software Engineer | Fraud & Scammer Detection | Remote

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fraud detection systems, including software, algorithms, and rule-based systems, to identify and prevent fraud and scams within the 360dialog platform.
• Monitor user behavior and transactions to detect potential fraud indicators and investigate reported cases of fraud. Analyze data and develop countermeasures to mitigate fraudulent activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to integrate fraud detection mechanisms into new and existing features. Provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure effective implementation of fraud prevention measures.
• Continuously improve fraud detection capabilities by staying updated with industry trends and emerging fraud techniques. Conduct data analysis to identify patterns and optimize fraud detection algorithms. Document findings, communicate system updates to stakeholders, and contribute to overall fraud prevention improvement.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, including experience with Python libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and machine learning concepts, with experience in data manipulation, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
• Knowledge of fraud detection methodologies, techniques, and best practices, including rule-based systems, anomaly detection, or statistical approaches.
• Familiarity with big data processing platforms like Databricks and tools like Apache Spark for data processing and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking abilities, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
