The Administrative Nurse Coordinator (ANC) serves as the hospital operational oversight point person across all shifts. The ANC is responsible for facilitating patient movement, staffing, emergency management (both medical and facilities), clinical coordination and collaboration across all departments. The ANC plans for, leads, and coordinates the provision of quality care and service from a hospital wide perspective. In the off shifts, the ANC also functions as liaison for Employee Health, Patient and Family Advocacy, Media Relations and other departments. In collaboration with administrative directors and managers, the ANC provides leadership, consultation and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary teaching environment, and is the surrogate for front line managers in their absence.
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing required.
- Masters Degree preferred, preferably in nursing or a related health field.
- Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience. Healthcare leadership experience.
