Purpose:
DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson Company, is recruiting for a Financial Manager to support the construction and start-up of a new manufacturing site in Costa Rica.
You will be responsible for:
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Establish and ensure adherence to effective financial processes, controls and targets in order to deliver the overall program applying J&J procedures and best accounting practices.
- Lead financial close, project accounting and reporting activities and act as the primary point of contact for all program-related compliance inquiries.
- Provide structure and advice to leadership team as needed to meet timelines and deliver the project on-budget while minimizing impacts to base business.
- Seek out and collaborate with J&J subject-matter-experts in Global Financial Services, Trade Compliance, Tax, Treasury and Legal as needed to ensure compliance with all internal and external laws and procedures.
- Promote the use of J&J's Credo principles in all interactions with business partners.
- Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
- Define, optimize and gain alignment for the future-state finance operating model and tactical execution roadmap.
- Drive the prioritization and implementation of financial processes and systems to enable Day 1 and ongoing site business activities.
- Collaborate with other J&J manufacturing sites and finance shared service centers to understand and apply standard processes.
- Lead the site financial planning activities following Franchise calendars and processes. Develop and present detailed project budgets, analysis and executive summary projections to senior leadership.
- Identify and present critical insights regarding project goals, opportunities & risks and related mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Build strong cross-functional and cross-franchise partnerships across all levels within Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, R&D, Marketing and Commercial to collect and challenge assumptions, model scenario implications and influence business decisions.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Experience And Education
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- MBA, CMA or C
