Job Description
Quadient’s Product Operations team is the connective tissue of our ~600-person Product & R&D organization. We set the operational rhythm of the business — from how we plan and prioritize to how we measure, communicate, and improve. As Business Analyst, you’ll be a core member of this team, turning data, process, and tooling into clarity for Product leadership and cross-functional partners.
This role is right for someone who is equally comfortable building a performance dashboard and drafting a leadership communication — someone who spots a broken process and moves to fix it, not just document it. You’ll work with real ownership across a maturing function, with direct visibility into how a global SaaS product organization makes decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Analytics, Reporting & Financial Tracking
- Build and maintain dashboards that track product portfolio performance, including ARR trends, feature adoption metrics, and delivery cadence across CCM/CXM, Financial Automation, and eInvoicing
- Partner with Product Managers and R&D to define and instrument meaningful KPIs, ensuring consistent measurement and reporting across business units
- Synthesize data from tools such as SFDC, SAP, Aha!, Jira, and other internal reporting systems into concise, actionable insights for leadership
- Own budget tracking and P&L monitoring for the Product organization — maintaining up-to-date views of spend vs. plan, flagging variances, and supporting the annual planning and quarterly reforecast processes
- Build and manage financial models and tracking tools, including headcount planning, cost center analysis, and investment scenario modeling
- Identify patterns and gaps in portfolio or financial data that surface risks or inform prioritization decisions
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as an operational coordination point between Product, R&D, Sales, and Customer Success for any data and reporting needs
- Support special projects including headcount modeling, org design analysis, and competitive or market benchmarking as needed
- Support the preparation of materials for senior leadership and cross-functional forums, including offsite planning and executive-level product reviews
Why This Role:
Product Operations at Quadient is still being built — which means this role carries real opportunity and ownership. You’ll have direct visibility into how a global SaaS product organization makes decisions, genuine influence over improving how it operates, and the chance to build processes and capabilities that didn’t exist before. The work spans data and strategy, process and communication, and touches nearly every part of a ~600-person Product & R&D organization. If you want to build something, sit close to leadership, and see your work shape how a company runs — this is it.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
- 4–6 years of experience in a business analyst, strategy & operations, product operations, or chief of staff-adjacent role, ideally within a B2B SaaS company
- Advanced Excel proficiency — you build models, not just spreadsheets; comfortable with financial tracking, P&L analysis, headcount planning, and scenario modeling without needing a finance team to hold your hand
- Strong broader analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to work with quantitative data and translate it into clear, decision-ready narratives; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) a strong plus
- Excellent written communication — you can move fluidly between a data summary, a process doc, and an executive communication without losing clarity or voice
- Familiarity with product management and roadmapping tools; comfort learning and working across multiple platforms as part of driving process change
- Comfort operating in a matrixed, global organization where influence matters more than authority, and where you’re often working across teams you don’t control
- Enough strategic instinct to know which problems are worth solving, and enough execution dis
