As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the product line within the Advanced Radar RF and Digital Department. You will be working as a member of a team that supports a production program under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney and/or Plano, Texas.

This position is an onsite role.

What You Will Do

  • Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/power circuitry and interfaces.

  • Troubleshooting test sets down to component level to include analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces.

  • Analysis of test data of products to make sure test specifications are met through use of SW (MATLAB) tools.

  • Reading and interpreting and applying engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.

  • This job is 100% Onsite.

Qualifications You Must Have  

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major.

  • This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore by the start of summer 2025.

  • Experience with coding.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions.

  • Basic understanding of electronics.

  • Able to communicate to leadership and colleagues.

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience with working in a team environment and manage priorities on multiple tasks.
