Senior Electronics Technician - Providence Anchorage

Provides oversight, coordination, monitoring, inspection and financial processing of fire and life safety systems installation, maintenance, repair, operations including system programming and testing and construction activities on the complex primarily related to fire/life safety systems and devices. Ensures that all construction and operations documentation and activity is kept current and in compliance with various federal, state, local and organization requirements. Makes sure the appropriate notifications are made to the affected departments and outside organizations. Serves as Fire Alarm contract manager and ensures quality control/compliance with codes and standards.

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm or core business hours, 40 hours per week; occasional after-hours support may be needed per business needs. Located onsite at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

Required qualifications:
- Upon hire: National Fire System Permit - State County City Trade License Authority
- 3 years of Construction or facilities related employment, including one year working with or directly on fire detection; annunciation; sprinkler and related fire/life safety systems. Formal education in a relevant field may be considered in lieu of experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction management or engineering from an accredited school.
