STV is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our Mission Critical group. This position will be located on our client site in Maryland, Virginia or the District of Columbia.   

This position will support complex programs with a strong focus on mission critical facilities, including data centers, security systems, utilities, and operational support facilities. This role will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale, mission critical projects, ensuring schedule, budget, safety, and performance objectives are achieved while maintaining uninterrupted operations. 

The Program Manager will serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders, owners, designers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, managing multiple workstreams and aligning technical delivery with program goals. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and manage mission critical programs involving facilities from planning through delivery 

  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with program objectives, budgets, schedules, and quality standards 

  • Coordinate closely with client operations to ensure continuity of service and minimal disruption to critical systems 

  • Manage program governance, reporting, and risk mitigation strategies 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership 

  • Collaborate with design, construction, and specialty consultants to resolve complex technical and operational challenges 

  • Monitor program performance, including cost, schedule, safety, and quality metrics 

  • Ensure compliance with local authority having jurisdiction requirements 

  • Lead change management, issue resolution, and decision-making processes 

  • Support procurement strategies, contract administration, and consultant oversight 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in mission critical, or complex infrastructure programs 

  • Demonstrated experience managing large, multi-disciplinary programs in mission critical environments 

  • Strong understanding of mission critical systems (power, IT, security, life safety, utilities, and operational facilities) 

  • Proven ability to manage risk, complexity, and stakeholder expectations in high-stakes environments 

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and client-facing skills 

Preferred Experience 

  • Experience working at major mission critical projects and active campuses. 

  • PMP or similar project/program management certification 

  • Experience supporting 24/7 operational facilities

Compensation Range:

$168,101.50 - $224,135.33
