POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Lead, working as part of the YMCA Center team, will help deliver world-class customer service and relationship building skills to create a welcoming environment at the YMCA. Under the direction of the Site Director, the Program Lead is responsible for supporting the delivery of the OST program which includes behavior management and participant safety. The incumbent will also exhibit the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility in all aspects of their work with the YMCA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist in developing, planning, and implementing daily activities, in-service days, in accordance with YMCA philosophy and state licensing requirements
- Implement risk management to provide safety and well-being of all children
- Integrate YMCA character development program into daily programming
- Assist Supervisor and help to observe behavior, activities, and engagement for groups of up to 15 youth.
- Proactively clean and/or repair program areas; maintain supplies and equipment
- Attend all training courses, staff meetings and in-services without exception
- Follow dress code; require staff to adhere with staff shirts, name badge, closed-toes shoes
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in accordance with location volume and events
- Be knowledgeable and supportive of the YMCA Annual Support Campaign, and general procedures and policies, including personnel guidelines, facility access procedures, membership policies, and emergency plans
