Position Overview
Under general direction of the Administrator of Compliance and Monitoring, performs duties of a highly responsible administrative nature. Performs a variety of staff functions; assists in the management of Compliance and Monitoring Services. Conducts review and continual tracking of compliance reviews and other projects (e.g., Freedom of Information Act responses) for the Administrator; assures there is needed information to address inquiries and for management decisions. Assists in developing and maintaining critical liaison relationships at administrative levels of the Bureau and within the Division. Interprets and explains policies and office procedures.
Essential Functions
- Serves as highly responsible staff assistant for the Administrator of Compliance and Monitoring.
- Serves as a liaison for the Administrator with compliance monitors as well as licensure, SUPR, DHS state and federal entities as well as the general public regarding matters affecting the Division.
- Assists in handling inquiries received from agency staff, the community, and private organizations.
- Acts as correspondence control manager.
- Manages timekeeping for the Section.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college, preferably with courses in public or business administration.
