Sand and Gravel Driver/ Dump Truck Experience

Description

Plaisted Companies is seeking reliable and safety-conscious Drivers who are committed to providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Propane Division during the late Fall through winter months and our Sand and Gravel division during the Spring-Summer-early Fall months.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials and products to and from job sites

- Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a timely and professional manner

- Adhere to all safety regulations, DOT, and company policies

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members

Requirements:

- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility and willingness to obtain hazmat/tanker endorsement in the future if there is a need.

Requirements

• Must hold Class A CDL or CDL Class B with willingness to advance to Class A
• No more than one moving violation in the previous 2 years
• Pass a 5 Panel Drug test (Urinalysis)
• Pass a Back and Extremity exam
• Be 21yrs + of age
• Unexpired Medical Card
