Senior Analyst, Business Analytics (Remote)

Position Summary

The Sr Analyst within the Specialty Analytics team will be responsible for developing analytical models, methodologies, reports, and process changes that support the company’s strategy initiatives. The Sr Analyst will design, develop, and deliver innovative analytic solutions, construct and manipulate large datasets to support planned analysis, using Alteryx/Dataiku, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, Teradata, and similar business intelligence tools. The Sr Analyst will own problem analysis, solution validation, risk management, issue resolution/escalation and stakeholder engagement processes. The Sr Analyst will develop tools, dashboards, and processes to support, manage and report on various business innovation strategies, oversee day-to-day aspects of assigned moderate to complex projects to ensure each project is delivered timely. The Sr. Analyst will engage with diverse stakeholders, driving alignment and fostering productive working relationships in a dynamic environment.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Examines the business needs and develops outputs that support decision-making processes.
• Creates reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data-driven insights in a clear and concise manner.
• Analyzes trends and patterns to identify areas of improvement, efficiency gains, and opportunities for growth.
• Uses statistical techniques, data mining, and predictive modeling to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
• Helps stakeholders make informed decisions by providing insights into potential future outcomes and their associated risks.
• Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills to derive meaningful insights that drive business decision-making.
• Participates in cross-functional teams, including business managers, marketing professionals, and executives, to understand their information needs and help them make informed decisions.
• Ensures the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data used for analysis.
• Perform data validation and verification to ensure the data used in the analysis is trustworthy and meets predefined quality standards.
• Collaborates with data governance teams to establish data standards, data quality checks, and best practices for data collection and storage.
• Explores innovative tools and approaches to improve data analysis and drive continuous improvement within the organization.
• Seeks opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge through training, certifications, or participation in relevant industry events.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years’ professional experience with a focus on Analytics, Business, and/or Technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing user dashboards using data visualization software, preferably Tableau.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel (advanced), Data Extraction, Wrangling, Visualization, and Automation Tools.
