Pay Grade: 13 

Salary:  $81000 - $85000 / yr

Other Forms of Compensation: 13% Annual bonus

Job Summary

Fresh & Ready Food Group is seeking an experience Human Resources professional to join our bustling manufacturing factility in Renton, WA. The Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, associate engagement, and HR administrative support in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role ensures staffing needs are met while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. Additionally, the Sr. HR Generalist plays a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture by driving associate engagement initiatives improving retention and ensuring employees are working safely. 

Key responsibilities:

Recruitment & Hiring Process:

· Manage job requisitions and extend offers to candidates.

· Lead job fair efforts to attract top talent.

· Assist candidates through the background check (BGC) process.

HR Support & Administration:

· Conduct employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

· Maintain and organize new hire folders.

· Track new hire training progress and maintain vacancy reports.

· Support CTV customized slides for training and communication.

Employee Relations & Support:

· Handle associate HR inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

· Work with HRAG to provide and administer counseling and conduct thorough investigations.

· Conduct progressive counseling with site leadership

· Process terminations and write-ups for attendance violations while ensuring consistency and fairness.

Leave of Absence (LOA) Management:

· Serve as the primary contact for LOA cases, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

· Track intermittent absences and provide guidance to associates and managers on leave processes.

Associate Engagement & Retention:

· Conduct regular climate surveys to assess associate satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

· Analyze survey results and work with management to implement strategies that enhance retention and morale.

· Organize and lead monthly associate engagement activities, including birthday and anniversary recognition programs.

· Partner with leadership to develop initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

· Support the Culture Champion program by identifying and celebrating associates who exemplify company values.

· Assist with recognition programs, rewards, and other initiatives that foster engagement and motivation.

Meetings & Compliance:

· Attend HR meetings related to recruitment, turnover, culture, DIAC, and engagement initiatives

· Ensure HR processes comply with company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations.

· Assist with all safety initiatives as required

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, employee relations, or engagement.

Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and associate engagement strategies.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
