MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information System Security Officer to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing, reviewing, and updating authorization packages while maintaining a robust library of current, accessible security documentation
- Assisting the ISSM in meeting duties, executing cyber security self-inspections, and providing coordination for system assessment plans
- Identifying cyber security vulnerabilities, conducting routine scanning, and assisting with the implementation of approved countermeasures
- Maintaining system baselines, managing configuration items, and conducting security impact analysis activities on authorization boundaries
- Monitoring system recovery processes, collecting and reviewing audit records, and documenting any system anomalies
- Coordinating hardware, software, or firmware modifications with the ISSM and AO/DAO while notifying leadership of authorization impacts
- Performing ISSO duties for internal and external customers while attending required technical and security training relative to assigned duties
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 2 years direct/related experience in information security.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (2 years)
- Active / valid DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification
- Experience with DoD/USAF information security policy background with practical / hands-on experience applying RMF processes and principles.
- Experience developing and/or contributing to an RMF body of evidence composition, applicable artifacts, and associated control families.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
