Seeking an Asleep Overnight Position for a with Developmental Disabilities
You can make a difference in the life of someone special! Advocates is looking for a dependable and compassionate Mentor to work with a young man that lives in his own home. In this critical role, the Mentor must be available to assist in an emergency during sleep hours. During any wake hours, the Mentor’s responsibility will be to promote independence in their home. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, effective communication skills, patience and must be reliable.
Hours and days of work:
8p-9:30a (Sunday and Monday Overnight)
Full-Time positions may be available.
Pay rate: $15.50 while sleeping, $23-$25.50 awake per hour
Location: Jamesville, NY
Reliable transportation is required. Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by non-profit agency. Please respond with resume or summary of experience.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid email address.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance if required for the job assigned.

- Must be able to tolerate a moderate noise level in the work environment and must be able to handle distractions.
