Your role at Clorox:
The Process Engineer owns the crucial responsibility of upholding operational safety, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing production efficiency through root cause analysis & process control. As the steward of daily operations, the Process Engineer sets the course for progress and oversees the key performance indicators (KPIs) for cell/lines, striving to minimize losses by leveraging manufacturing excellence methodologies.In this role, you will:
Lead, coach and develop Technical Process Operators in troubleshooting while continuously delivering plant metrics.
Provide appropriate training to Technical Process Operators to ensure that the necessary skills are developed to meet business needs.
Drive skill block assessments to develop a high performing team structure.
Communicate and provide day-to-day leadership for manufacturing operations through monitoring of total production processes to ensure that safety, quality, and production goals are met.
Own KPIs in their respective Cell such as Safety, Cost of Quality, OEE, Scrap Loss, & Cost Savings
Owner of TRACC modules: Focus Improvement, Quality, & Set-up Time Reduction
Responsible for providing daily and weekly gap analysis and the execution of loss elimination actions through structured problem solving.
Lead loss discussion in Daily Review Meetings (Tier 1 & Tier 2).
Supports production line schedule for changeovers, startups, and shutdowns.
Use Operational Excellence tools to identify and implement process improvements.
Participate and assist in Preventative Maintenance activities and provide input and support to improve equipment reliability.
Participate in Quality Investigation Reviews and countermeasure execution.
What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree - Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain or similar
Lead cross-functional teams to successfully complete projects on time and within budget.
Develop and help lead detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
Monitor project progress and adjusted plans to account for scope changes and risks.
Spearhead safety improvement initiatives, including the introduction of near-miss reporting and root cause analysis.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing KPIs and identifying trends while sustaining results.
Experience Identifying, developing, and implementing process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Background experience collecting and analyzing production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and make data-driven recommendations.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
Has experience Developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training materials to ensure compliance with plant policies.
Project Management experience leading or supporting process improvement projects from concept through implementation, tracking timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
