Position Overview:
The Commercial Water Heater Delivery & Warehouse Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring efficient, safe, and timely delivery of commercial water heaters and related products while assisting with warehouse operations when not on deliveries. This position requires a self-motivated individual who values safety, promptness, and customer service. Key Responsibilities:Delivery Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and set in place commercial water heaters and related products.
  • Utilize provided equipment safely and responsibly, including stair climbers for maneuvering units up to 950 lbs (training provided).
  • Ensure accurate and timely deliveries, following established routes and customer timeframes.
  • Maintain effective communication with the company during deliveries to receive any updates or instructions.
  • Respond to after-hours calls within 15 minutes when on call (additional compensation provided).
  • Maintain and monitor truck maintenance, keeping a safe driving record free of violations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, checking tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and other essential components.
  • Secure loads properly and verify the accuracy of shipping paperwork.
  • Present a professional attitude and appearance while interacting with customers.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
  • Assist in pulling, filling, packing, and setting up orders for delivery or pickup.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Receive shipments and report inventory discrepancies or quality issues.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, neat, and organized facility.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers.
  • Support warehouse operations when not actively delivering units.
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and maneuver units up to 950 lbs using provided equipment.
  • Experience in customer service with a professional attitude and appearance.
  • Ability to work on-call, with the option to request off-call with a two-week notice.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to respond promptly to calls and instructions.
  • Self-motivated team player who values safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $18-20/hr
