About the role

OUR POSITION IN A NUTSHELL

The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for international monthly recurring duties, including preparing and reviewing account reconciliations and preparing various monthly financial reports. This position will help support important accounting projects such as standardizing account reconciliation processes and process improvements. This position will be fast paced, challenging, and will allow for incredible personal growth opportunities in a company that has had and anticipates even more explosive global growth over the next several years.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Month-end close activities 

  • Lead the month-end close process including review of timely and accurate monthly reporting package and review with business leaders
  • Lead team in assisting the Reporting team with preparation of annual statutory financial statements
  • Perform first-level review of reconciliations of the general ledger accounts, including intercompany and VAT accounts
  • Approve monthly journal entries for depreciation, amortization, payroll, eliminations and other general ledger accounts
  • Manage and train corporate staff and senior accountants
  • Other duties as assigned

Accounting Projects 

  • Support creation of global policies and procedures
  • Assist in documentation of internal controls
  • Continuously strive toward process improvement and efficiencies
  • Act as primary administrator for FloQast
  • Act as secondary administrator for NetSuite
  • Participate in special projects related to acquisitions, divestitures, and break/fixes.
  • Other items as assigned

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Your Experience (Preferred)

    • Minimum 4-6 years of relevant work experience in accounting (public accounting experience is a plus)
    • Relevant experience applying knowledge of GAAP, financial statements and internal controls
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
    • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent reconciliation and analysis skills

Your Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required)

  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and excellent work ethics
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as a team under pressure to meet specific deadlines
