The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams’ have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent supports the Golf Course Superintendent in overseeing daily golf course maintenance operations, ensuring exceptional course conditions, playability, and presentation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support daily golf course maintenance operations by providing hands-on leadership, coordinating work assignments, maintaining records and schedules, and ensuring team members have the tools, resources, and guidance needed to perform effectively
Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and evaluating Golf Maintenance team members while promoting a safe, collaborative, and high-performing work environment aligned with company standards
Help manage labor, inventory, and operational resources to maintain exceptional conditions of turf, bunkers, cart paths, naturalized areas, maintenance facilities, and clubhouse grounds
Support course improvement projects and maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems, including fertilizer and pesticide application programs, to ensure optimal course quality and playability
Foster strong communication and teamwork across all levels of the operation while maintaining a visible leadership presence and recognizing employee contributions
