The AVP of User Experience & Website Design at Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is a pivotal role focused on leading the development of our digital products and web presence. This role will focus on enhancing user satisfaction through a deep understanding of user behaviors, leveraging best practices in design and usability. The ideal candidate will strategize, oversee, and implement user-centered design strategies that align with our business goals.
Ideal candidate will be in the Philadelphia area.
- Deep experience with managing complexity across user experience website design and in technological implementation.
- Experience crafting transactional, marketing and editorial user experiences for CMS.
- Demonstrable experience with design systems for CMS, including ADA considerations.
- Experience with Figma prototyping and handoff, including implementing code-ready design tokens in Figma.
- Strong brand and visual design skills evidenced through live work.
- Experience with implementing functional UX copy best practices (transactional UX) as well as marketing/editorial copy that amplifies brand/tone-of-voice.
- Journey Mapping (and other ancillary UX personas).
- Able to summarize work in communications geared to all levels of business stakeholders; present effectively.
- Able to manage team’s remits, pivoting as needed depending on the performance of the website.
Experience Required:
- Experience: 10+ years in User Experience (UX) and website design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience in user-centered design, web design, and usability.
- Design Systems Experience, with the ability to translate the bran into UX
- Design for CMS – ability to design for a new CMS enabled website.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma Prototyping and handoff.
- Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and analytics tools (ie: Google Analytics, Hotjar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions clearly to stakeholders.
