Job Profile Summary

Interpret, translate, and integrate the vision into business solutions through the creation of complex software programs. Design, recommend, and consult on technology solutions to provide business value across the team. Expand understanding of the business needs for which the application is designed. Lead the creation of applications that provide clients and associates with fully digital experiences as per business partner requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Create prototypes and software designs for new products.

• Develop new features and maintain current products recommendations by business partners.

• Design, consult, and implement the whole development process, from gathering requirements to system integration and testing.

• Leverage innovative thinking to evaluate and make suggestions to management and development professionals for improvements to project development and business practices, standards, and strategies.

• Continue to build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders across Fidelity.

• Use consistency, refactoring, repetition, and automation to simplify complex issues.

• Implement an innovative culture that enables associates to enhance technical and business skills.

• Take responsibility for every part of delivery and communicates effectively with all stakeholders.

• Provide technical expertise for identifying, assessing, and creating procedures that satisfy user needs for both new and current systems.

• Ensure all software development and revisions, including comments added to the code, new design, and process flow, is fully documented, reviewed for accuracy, and adheres to Fidelity quality standards.

• Collect and interpret information about the requirements and specifications for the application by work

• Possesses global, strategic, and objective thinking. Translates data, business knowledge, and business goals into actionable insights, strategies, and business plans.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
