Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (Part-Time) – Operations Leadership (Data and Information Systems courses)

Department: Entrepreneurship Academy

Duration: Immediate Need - May 2026

Location: Remote

The interested individual(s) will have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems or a relevant discipline to the courses.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and extensive industry experience may be considered
• Academic experience teaching at the university or College level preferred.
• Experience creating interactive and practical learning experiences.
• Highly effective communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems (Brightspace or Moodle) and the use of remote delivery and educational technologies is an asset
• Capacity to commit to the course development over the next 4-5 months is required

The responsibilities of the assignments include but are not limited to:
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert and work closely with an Instructional Designer and Program Leader to plan and develop curriculum content
• Develop a course outline including learning outcomes, evaluations, required resources, and weekly learning plans for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
• Participate in meetings with various stakeholders to address the proposed course(s)
• Respond to and amend documents, as required to address internal reviews

• BUS119 – Computer Applications for Business and Leadership
• OPL200 – Applied Statistics
• BUS216 – Business Data Analytics
• BUS217 – Management Information Systems
