Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. The Undergraduate Co-op at Amgen offers students the opportunity to gain industry experience while completing their studies. The co-op runs from May to August 2025 at our New Albany, OH site. In conjunction with project work, you will have the opportunity for professional development through training sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and various networking events.
Responsibilities may include:
Working with the engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing teams on packaging line commercial support, and commissioning and qualification support of new packaging lines, leveraging your analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Working cross-functionally to identify problems, measure the current state, and develop, present, and implement recommendations.
Networking with colleagues across the company and enjoy full access to Amgen’s Employee Resource Groups.

Basic Qualifications
Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:
18 years or older
Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university
Must not be employed at the time the internship or co-op starts
Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship OR co-op
Preferred Qualifications
Degree concentration in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or related degree
Sophomore or Junior
Previous Co-op or internship experience
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, project management, problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills
Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility and ada
