The Role
The Vehicle Model-Option Forecaster is responsible for developing and maintaining a 40-week rolling forecast that supports vehicle scheduling for assigned nameplates. This role also manages key engineering information in the Order Configuration and Validation System (OCVS), including items such as brakes, springs, and gross vehicle weight (GVW), to ensure accurate order application and effective breakpoint coordination for applicable Vehicle Description Summary (VDS) changes.

What You’ll Do
Develop, analyze, and maintain the 40-week model and option forecast in the Production Order Management & Scheduling system (POMS).
Transmit forecast updates as required to support material schedule alignment.
Prepare model year-to-date customer order component penetration reports for Marketing teams.
Review pending OCVS VDS activity for assigned products across all model years and ensure accurate breakpoint implementation for engineering changes.
Ensure required OCVS engineering data is received and validated for initial model year order processing.
Participate in Order Fulfillment vertical and launch meetings and provide data analysis as needed.
Contribute feedback to the development and enhancement of systems and processes.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for new or updated systems.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field.
1 to 2 or more years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, or a related area.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and interpret data from multiple sources.
Demonstrated problem-solving capability in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong interpersonal skills and a proven commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated resilience and willingness to take on challenges and drive results despite obstacles.
Strong understanding of broader enterprise operations.
Proven adaptability, operational agility, and leadership potential.
