What are we looking for?
The EMC Technician II position is responsible for providing technical support for engineering staff, including performing duties related to routine testing, maintenance, or clean-up. Evaluations will be performed on products which incorporate radio transmitters, telecom devices, IoT products, medical equipment, household electronics, and industrial devices.
Schedule - We are hiring for 2nd shift.
2nd shift: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM

What you'll do:
- Under scope of the project, identify and locate test instruments and equipment required for testing.
- Set up and operate standard test equipment including but not limited to spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, surge generators, environmental chambers, electrostatic discharge simulators.
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment and document simple repairs on equipment under test as needed.
- Perform basic analysis of test data and routine calculations.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience to all customers throughout the onsite testing.
- Interact with customers in a professional manner including appearance and attitude.
- Diligent safety practices, knowledge of OSHA standards, and use of safety equipment as required by management.
- Work closely with lead/ crew members and take direction to complete projects within certain policies and procedures.
- Daily cleanup and maintenance of projects, work equipment, work site, vehicles and organize all tools and materials.
- Perform site survey activities with a team.
- Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety.
- Compile test results during construction review and testing. Compile data and product description and type final report using established report shell. Submit report.
- Follow sample handling procedures, ensuring that sample is logged in and out of the system. Move equipment as needed through the facility. Properly package sample for shipment.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience
