Job Title: Senior Database Engineer – L3 Experience – 8+ Years and above Job Location – Hyderabad (Madhapur)Shifts – 24/7 Support, 5 days weekSkills -  Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle & Azure, AWS, GCP, on-prem. 
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure database systems across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in various database technologies and a strong focus on performance optimization, data security, and system reliability.You will work with a range of Database Management Systems (DBMS) including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle. Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps is essential.Key Responsibilities:

• Data Security & Privacy:
  Implement and enforce database security best practices to protect sensitive information and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization:
  Analyze and improve database performance through query optimization, indexing strategies, and server configuration.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery:
  Regularly test backup and high availability/disaster recovery (HA/DR) strategies across various platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, on-prem).
• Data Migration & Integration:
  Plan and execute seamless data migrations, system upgrades, and integrations between different platforms and tools.
• Database Administration:
  Manage the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of DBMS environments, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
• Cloud & On-Premise DB Solutions:
  Deep experience in managing both cloud-based and on-premise database services, with hands-on expertise in Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Collaboration & Support Coordination:
  Collaborate closely with L1 and L2 support teams and coordinate with vendors to resolve complex database issues and service requests.

Required Expertise:

• Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases including:
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • MySQL
  • Oracle
• Expertise in:
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) strategies
  • Backup and restore processes
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting large/complex database environments
• Familiarity with:
  • Version control tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
