Database Solution Engineer

• Design and implement database solutions for enterprise applications,
• Optimize performance of deployments using features like partitioning, indexing, clustering,
• Design to migration solution of database systems like from Oracle to GaussDB,
• Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, security and reliability of databases,
• Conduct capacity planning, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve Huawei Cloud Databases.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience with enterprise database technologies like Oracle/SQL-Server/PostgreSQL,
• Strong understanding of at least 1 type of database architecture, features, and best practices,
• Experience with database migration, optimization, HA clustering, scaling, tuning,
• Proficiency in SQL, database design principles, data modeling, ETL processes,
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana,
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
• Must be able to work in Istanbul-Izmir-Ankara offices.
