The Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking a dedicated Multicultural Services Coordinator to join our team at the Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility in Grants Pass, Oregon. In this pivotal role, you will provide direct, culturally responsive services to youth and families from diverse backgrounds and marginalized communities. Your focus will be supporting youth through advocacy, education, and culturally specific programming, both within the facility and in the community. You will collaborate closely with OYA staff, families, and community partners, delivering training to enhance cultural awareness and ensuring staff can recognize and respond to the unique needs of underrepresented youth.
Additionally, you will actively contribute to our Family Engagement program, facilitating connections between youth and their families.
