Founded in 2017, Lokalise is a cloud-based translation management system that helps businesses streamline their localization processes. It provides a platform for managing translations of software, websites, mobile apps, and other digital content. Overall, Lokalise helps businesses improve their time-to-market, increase translation quality, and reduce costs associated with localization.

We need you!

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform team and build and support our Lokalise SaaS solution.

You will support the Lokalise Product Engineering team by building and maintaining the infrastructure and related tooling, and take full ownership of solving problems in the case of incidents.

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will:

• Create a scalable, secure, highly available, and reliable platform to support the organization’s SaaS solution. 
• Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the technology stack, and assist with automating routine tasks.
• Review existing processes and recommend changes or introduce new ones, including observability, upgrades, tuning, etc.
• Work closely with the Product and the Engineering teams to execute business deliverables.
• Generate technical and operational documentation.
• Be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation and an escalation point for platform incidents.

 You must have:

• 4+ years of experience as an SRE/DevOps/platform/cloud engineer and 10+ years of experience in total (including system administrator experience).
• Expertise in running containerized applications on Kubernetes, in production and at scale, including:
• Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools (Argo CD, Flux CD)
• Experience with Kubernetes security tools, like OPA Gatekeeper or Falco
• Knowledge of managed Kubernetes EKS, including autoscaling and permissions management
• Experience delivering infrastructure as code, and configuration and secrets management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Kustomize, and HashiCorp Vault.
• Fluency in Linux.
• Experience in one or more common scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Graylog.
• An understanding of incident management, a knack for troubleshooting challenging problems, and proven experience in platform support in a 24/7 environment.
• Working knowledge of English (B2 level).

It will be considered a significant advantage if you have the following:

• Experience with AWS.
• Experience in setting up and administering data stores and search engines like MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Golang.
