Director, R&D Execution and Process Excellence, VBU Operations

The successful candidate will have an essential role in accelerating time to market and revenue by driving R&D process excellence. We are seeking a highly driven and dynamic person who thrives on driving change and has a passion for operational and execution excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the advancement of program management through cutting edge standards, capabilities and processes to accelerate time to market and revenue with successful delivery of large complex programs.
• Develop and implement a tailorable and customer centric project management model to enable successful delivery of projects and solutions of all complexities.
• Strengthen capability and build expertise in risk management, resource capacity management, change management and project planning across ADI.
• Drive the advancement of product lifecycle management capabilities, partnering with stakeholders to develop capability roadmap ensuring improvement opportunities are prioritized.
• Advance and unify ADI New Product Development Process for all solution types
• Drive adherence to process from concept to completion for all solution types with training and support.
• Ensure early stakeholder engagement for shift left strategy– IP Reuse, Software, Customer Validation, Virtual Test, Foundry Process readiness.
• Work closely with PRISM portfolio management team to drive performance and predictability to plan and accelerate time to revenue through data driven action.
• Build strong partnerships across ADI and POs to drive continuous improvement in optimizing processes, practices and principles to support growth strategy and deliver optimum business outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Operations or other relevant.  MBA/MS a plus.
• 15+ years of experience in Business, Project Management, Operations, Strategic Quality management or a field related to the knowledge and abilities.
• Subject matter expert in Program management with demonstrated impact in managing complex, enterprise programs.
• Broad end-to-end knowledge of the product development lifecycle processes.
• Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively across the enterprise.
• Team leadership and talent development experience
• Proven ability in motivating teams and leading change cross functionally through influence
• A problem solver with strong analytical skills who can quickly assess situations, collect relevant input from subject matter experts and drive solutions to business challenges.
• Results orientated with strong planning and organizations skills; must be able to
