Property Management Assistant - Buildium (ZR_17753_JOB)

This is a remote position.

• Contract type: Independent Contractor
  
• Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm Jacksonville, FL Time  with an hour unpaid break
  
• Operate within the client’s time zone
  
• Collaborate with on-site team members for tasks requiring physical presence
  
• Manage tasks for 25 properties remotely
  
• Utilize provided software systems and tools to perform all duties
  

Responsibilities:

• Process rental applications, including HUD reviews and background checks
  
• Verify employment and tenancy of potential tenants
  
• Collect deposits and manage move-in procedures
  
• Coordinate property inspections with field personnel
  
• Set up and manage e-leases using Buildium software
  
• Handle tenant communications, including rent collection and eviction notices
  
• Manage work orders and tenant requests
  
• Assist with tenant move-out processes
  
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in Buildium
  

Requirements:

• Experience with property management software, preferably Buildium
  
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  
• Familiarity with HUD regulations and rental application processes
  
• Basic understanding of legal aspects related to property management
  
• Proficiency in using online databases and conducting background checks
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
  
• Customer service-oriented mindset
