**Department:** Property Management Corporate Maintenance Team

**Position Summary:**
We’re seeking an experienced Floating Maintenance Manager to join our Corporate Maintenance Team. In this vital leadership role, you’ll support multiple properties across Texas, providing essential coverage and training to ensure consistent maintenance standards and compliance. You’ll be instrumental in stabilizing properties that are temporarily understaffed or underperforming, reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Delegate and manage maintenance tasks across assigned properties.
- Conduct daily huddles to assign and ensure completion of service requests and unit turns.
- Supervise and schedule contractors, ensuring quality and timely completion of work.
- Maintain accurate records and track work orders using Yardi.
- Ensure properties meet safety requirements and have ongoing curb appeal.
- Assist with daily maintenance tasks and provide after-hours emergency support as needed.
- Prepare properties for inspections and develop follow-up plans.
- Hire, mentor, and train maintenance staff, fostering a culture of accountability.
- Monitor and approve maintenance expenditures, ensuring budget compliance.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED required; 7+ years of maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
- HVAC/EPA Certification required; Certified Pool Operator preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
- Solid math and reasoning skills to interpret data and solve problems effectively. **Benefits:**
