About the role

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition, non-physician recruitment.  This position will be a hybrid role, located in Wilmington, Delaware or Orlando, Florida.

The Director of Talent Acquisition, Non-Physician recruitment has the responsibility to ensure that the Non-Physician Recruitment Team has a strong customer focus, are operationally efficient and achieve effective recruitment outcomes consistent with organizational strategies. This position leads the strategic and operational aspects of recruiting non-physician healthcare professionals. This role is crucial in ensuring the pediatric healthcare system attracts, hires, and retains top talent to provide exceptional care to children and their families across multiple states.  This individual needs to be results oriented, a thought partner to Non-Physician and Operational leadership with exemplary communication skills and a track record of effective collaboration and creative solutions. This role will develop effective staffing and sourcing approaches that will accelerate the achievement of strategic talent acquisition goals. The position will be onsite at NCH Orlando or NCH DE and will oversee all staffing needs for the non-physician team across the enterprise. This will include but not limited to all vendor relationship to support temporary and permanent staffing needs, local and national conference attendance, sourcing activities and relationship with Nemours Marcom team.

The role requires someone who is results-oriented, a thought partner to leadership, and has exemplary communication skills with a proven track record of collaboration and creative solutions. Being onsite at NCH Orlando or NCH DE, the Director will play a pivotal role in driving the recruitment strategy forward. This position will travel on an as need basis to other Nemours locations to help support the needs of the Talent Acquisition team and our customers. This role will work closely with the Director of Workforce Partnership and the Director of Physician Recruitment.  They will report up to the AVP of Talent Acquisition and Workforce Partnerships.

Requirements:

  • List specifics here: Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3-5 years of management experience, overseeing a healthcare talent acquisition team required
  • Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies. Oracle, Preferred.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare recruitment, particularly for non-physician roles, and familiarity with pediatric healthcare environments
