Senior Human Resources Manager

The Indianapolis Zoo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to oversee key HR functions and support a positive workplace culture. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role will manage the HR Specialist and direct initiatives in recruiting, hiring, training, employee engagement, and appreciation. Additionally, this position will lead training and development programs, oversee performance management, and assist with employee relations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience as a generalist or manager
• Strong background in training and development
• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and HRIS systems
• A bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field (SHRM certification a plus)
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws
