Operations Manager

Position reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain all inventory and BOH areas
• Support store sales productivity and customer service through timely and accurate processing of all inventory
• Perform all shipping/receiving tasks in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner
• Strategize and communicate with management regarding inventory levels to maximize sales
• Perform monthly cycle counts ensuring to report discrepancies and results to AM and Inventory Control Manager
• Assure annual shrink goals are achieved by enforcing security measures and maintaining consistent accuracy in inventory
• Assists in the preparation, execution and reconciliation of the store’s physical inventories
• Process stores damages monthly according to procedure
• Maintain store facilities and equipment inclusive of office supplies, computers, registers, alterations tools, technical equipment, telephone systems, etc.
• Handle customer repair issues (internally) and maintain thorough documentation of any pending matters
• Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication and teamwork when interacting with coworkers, clients and management
• Ensure that high standards of an effective BOH operations are maintained by working closely with management team and sales associates daily

Experience & Key Competencies:

• Minimum of five years’ experience in retail environment – luxury experience preferred
• Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system, Word, Excel and email
• Ability to thrive within a high paced environment, multi-tasks with ease while maintaining a balance of daily responsibilities
• A positive, outgoing, high energy personality that is entrepreneurial and team oriented
• Ability to perform the following physical behaviors effectively and frequently throughout the shift; standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pushing, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling weights up to 50lbs
