Position Summary: 

Provides professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Prepares equipment and  assists physicians during examinations and treatments. Administers prescribed medications, changes  dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs. Observe and maintain records on patient care,  condition, reaction, and progress. Utilizes an automated scheduling system (IDX) to schedule  appointments and phone triage.

• Ability to read charts to ensure lab tests and reports are included for physician review
• Medical assessment skills 
• Knowledge of IDX system - Scheduling / Registration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements

 Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience: 

• RN Certification and State of TN or compact state licensure Required
• Bachelor of Science degree (BSN) or associate degree Preferred
• Proven experience in clinic or hospital setting Preferred 
• 1-2 years experience in a specific specialty area Preferred
