Your Mission As an Intern for our Team:
Your mission as an intern is to work collaboratively with the team to support the design, development, and delivery of our products and product features. You will have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in various aspects of software development, including but not limited to coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. With the guidance of experienced professionals, you will be encouraged to ask questions, seek feedback, and share your insights with the team. Our objective is to provide you with a valuable learning opportunity and support your growth as a software engineer.
Accountability & Impact of Role:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that will have a direct impact on our core products and product features. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain hands-on experience in coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while contributing to the overall success of our engineering team. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our products and features to our customers. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to the overall success of our engineering team.
What You Bring to the Role:
As an intern, we expect you to bring a strong passion for software development and a desire to learn and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. While previous professional experience is not required, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a solid understanding of programming concepts and have experience working on coding projects (e.g. personal projects, class assignments, etc.).
In addition, we are looking for interns who possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, can work effectively in a team setting, and are eager to contribute to the success of our engineering team. You should also have a willingness to learn new technologies, be adaptable, and have a positive attitude towards feedback and growth.
Some specific technical skills we are looking for include:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. C#, Java, Python, Node)
- Familiarity with software development principles and practices (e.g. agile development methodologies, data structures and algorithms, version control, testing methodologies, and debugging techniques)
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, NextJS)
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL, MySQL)
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
