We are seeking a Senior Account Manager in San Jose, CA, who will play a key leadership role in driving client satisfaction, operational excellence, and team development across assigned accounts. This position is ideal for a dynamic leader with strong relationship management skills, proven operational expertise, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Client Relationship & Growth
- Serve as the primary liaison for key clients, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders through regular meetings, updates, and responsiveness to concerns.
- Identify opportunities for account growth, renewals, and service enhancements.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor site leadership and front-line staff to ensure professional service delivery.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and development through coaching and recognition.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and respect across all teams.
Operational & Financial Management
- Oversee daily operations across multiple accounts, ensuring compliance with all client directives, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and manage account budgets, monitor financial performance, and control labor costs.
- Manage payroll, scheduling, and billing processes accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure reporting systems are maintained and support business transparency.
Performance Monitoring & Compliance
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with operational standards and client expectations.
- Monitor KPIs, dashboards, and training records to track progress and maintain service excellence.
- Proactively resolve operational challenges and implement process improvements.
Strategic Contribution
- Partner with branch leadership to align account objectives with regional strategies.
- Contribute to company-wide initiatives, leveraging best practices to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Provide insight and recommendations to enhance operational performance and service innovation.
What We’re Looking For
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years of experience in account management, operations, or client services.
- Management Expertise: Proven leadership background with direct experience overseeing payroll and billing.
- Industry Knowledge: Security industry experience is beneficial but not required—backgrounds in operations, facilities, or service management are strongly valued.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and lead teams, manage performance, and build positive workplace cultures.
- Client Service Focus: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of delivering superior client satisfaction.
- Analytical Skills: Strong financial acumen, data analysis ability, and comfort with KPIs and reporting tools.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and professionalism.
