Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Architect to join our team. The opportunities for Informa Markets to achieve its objectives at a large scale and within a complex landscape of businesses require a dedicated Business Architect focused on aligning the organisation's strategic objectives to tactical demand, using business architecture tools and frameworks. The Business Architect will lead business architecture initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to effectively deliver business value while applying a business architecture methodology. This role requires a deep understanding of business architecture and excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining an Enterprise business view to represent the different products and services that IM offers.

Job Summary / Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implementation of business architecture frameworks:

• Develop and implement business architecture frameworks, including business capabilities, processes, data, and technology to support the organisation's strategic direction.
• Identify opportunities to enhance business performance, reduce costs, and increase efficiency through business architecture.
• Develop and maintain the organization's business architecture roadmap and ensure alignment with the overall enterprise architecture.

2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business strategies and goals:

• Work with business leaders to identify and define business strategies, goals, and objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business strategies align with the enterprise strategy.
• Develop business architecture artefacts documenting the organization's strategic direction, including models, diagrams, and documentation.

3. Develop and maintain business architecture artefacts:

• Develop and maintain business architecture artefacts, including business capability, process, customer, product data, and technology models.
• Document business architecture standards, principles, and guidelines.
• Ensure business architecture artefacts are kept up-to-date and are accessible to stakeholders.
• Ensure business architecture artefacts represent an accurate view of the business and the relevant scope when used.

4. Facilitate business architecture workshops and meetings:

• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to define and document business strategies and goals.
