Senior Mechanical Engineer

<p> </p><p>1.      Provides input to set engineering direction on new projects.  </p><p>2.      Establishes technical approach, selects materials, conducts design reviews and creates and executes test plans. With existing products, will work in a value and manufacturing engineering capacity, reviewing prints, materials selection and manufacturing methods to assure accuracy, cost control and manufacturability.  </p><p>3.      Collaborates with and advises engineers and designers from client companies.</p><p>4.      Works as a key part of the product realization team, establishing technical approach, evaluating risk and providing mechanical engineering solutions that meet or exceed the established product requirements.</p><p>5.      Reviews and selects materials, finishes and manufacturing methods for plastics, metals and electro-mechanical components such as solenoid valves, pumps and motors that meet product, customer and government regulatory requirements.</p><p>6.      Works with regulatory and program management staff to ensure mechanical engineering and design meets government regulatory guidelines and requirements.</p><p>7.      Collaborates with electrical engineering and design to specify and create electro-mechanical parts, assemblies and products.</p><p>8.      Collaborates with clients and mechanical designers to specify and/or review mechanical drawings and electro-mechanical assemblies for accuracy, cost management and manufacturability.</p><p>9.      Works with mechanical designers and outside suppliers to create, modify and assess part and/or product prototypes.</p><p>10.  Reviews proposed manufacturing processes, dies and tooling to ensure efficient, accurate and cost-effective production of parts and products.</p><p>11.  Prepares and executes design verification tests ensuring product requirements have been fulfilled by execution of the technical approach.</p><p>12.  Researches and evaluates mechanical and electro-mechanical materials, components, assemblies, manufacturing procedures &amp; processes and/or equipment.</p><p>13.  Leads or participates in design reviews, ensuring product requirements are met, engineering intent is maintained, and risks are mitigated prior to release for tooling and production.</p><p>14.  Performs other related duties as assigned by management to meet production schedule.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p> </p><p>1.       BS in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of process development / improvement experience</p><p>2.       Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technically demanding environment.</p><p>3.       Demonstrated ability to develop processes from concept to production.</p><p>4.       Highly motivated individual that can independently drive deliverables to completion through collaboration among team members.</p><p>5.       Demonstrated ability to develop and drive innovative solutions into processes and products.</p><p>6.       Understanding of DFM, medical device design control / quality systems and the product development process (PLCP).</p><p>7.       Excellent written and oral communication skills</p><p>8.       Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills</p><p>9.       Ability to manage priorities and workflow.</p><p>10.   Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects.</p><p>11.   Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.</p><p>12.   Creative, flexible, and innovative team player</p><p>13.   Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Professional and Friendly Working Environment, chance to attend employee’s training and development programs</li> <li>Premium healthcare Insurance (In Vietnam) &amp; Business travel insurance</li> <li>Health, social &amp; unemployment insurance (following Government regulation)</li> <li>Company trip, New Year party, Team building</li> <li>Occasion-based offerings: Birthday, New year, Labor's day, Mid autumn..</li> </ul>
