The portfolio team within FreeWheel’s product marketing organization is tasked with managing overall strategy and positioning across the entire product portfolio, as opposed to individual products or services. We seek critical thinkers who employ an analytic, collaborative, and holistic approach toward understanding how our platforms and products interact with various markets and customers. As a graduate intern with this group, you will perform market segmentation and analysis to help identify trends and opportunities that can be addressed by multiple products and platforms, develop positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with the TV industry’s largest media organizations and their buyers, devise product launch plans, and transfer knowledge about markets, buyers, and product across marketing and sales functions.

Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for performing market segmentation and analysis, developing positioning and messaging strategies, devising product launch plans, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders on the long-term growth and evolution of FreeWheel’s products and business strategy. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Gather market data and competitive intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and assess the strategic and/or financial impact of product solutions.
- Conduct market segmentation and sizing to validate target audience pain points and needs, create buyer personas and journey maps, define positioning and value propositions, and determine the best routes to market.
- Define goals and objectives for product launches, build messaging and content plans that support the buyer's journey and feed downstream content creation, and develop solutions handbooks, training materials, and other sales enablement resources.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to execute go-to-market plans, train sales teams, and activate product-oriented demand gen campaigns.
- Analyze customer feedback and product performance to address issues and identify opportunities to improve offerings and go-to-market.
- Seek out opportunities to improve positioning and messaging and ensure consistency across product portfolio.
- Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Basic Requirements
- Knowledge of market research, product positioning, and messaging concepts with skill displayed through previous experience or applicable coursework
- Clear, concise, and effective communication skills
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a college or university
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program

- Education Level – University Bachelor’s or MBA Program
- Students who are completing their graduate
