Additional Job Description

Qualification:

•  Bachelor's degree in business administration or MBA or related field Experience
• 2 - 5 years relevant functional experience in Purchase, materials control, procurement, and inventory functions Knowledge & skills:
   Knowledge of Purchase, Materials Management and Warehousing practices • Good planning and Organizing Skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment • Ability to analyses complex data, draw connections, and advocate a coherent strategy for improvement.

Area of responsibility:

Purchase

• Develop a purchase plan based on S&OP & minimum inventory norms by coordinating with planning and packing department

• Coordinate with suppliers and transporters for status of the orders/ deliveries

• Supervise the receipt and control of the daily purchase receipt/production receipt of material

• Ensure the timely and adequate movement of material within the unit to ensure smooth operations

• Plan, implement and monitor targets of logistics costs & working on optimum logistics model

• Ensure maintenance of proper account of recycled bottle and packing material in the unit

• Ensure scrap sale at best rates

• Ensure security in transit for inbound & outbound goods through necessary insurance

Maximizing credit terms & thus enhancing cash flow• Plan Vs Actuals

• Man-hours lost due to material in availability

• Adherence to Timelines

Excise

• Maintain all record as per State / Central Excise Department rules and regulations pertaining to Blending, Bottling and Plant

• Ensure that records pertaining to stock registers, ware house register, monthly returns, bonding & debonding etc. are updated and maintained on a daily basis

• Ensure necessary verifications are done on accurate and timely basis  eg finish goods stock position, spirits entry, Job Worker's Bill, Daily physical stock verification as per Excise records

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory documents

• Oversee the loading of Finished Goods• Plan Vs Actuals

• Adherence to Timelines

• Accuracy

Stores

• Maintain stock of Raw material & finished goods

• Maintain FIFO / FEFO for all RM / PM / BM & FG
