Marketing Project Manager
AlluvionicAbout the role
Alluvionic is looking for a project manager to join our team in our Melbourne office. This person will lead the successful execution of a variety of projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent time-management and problem-solving
Overview:
We're looking for a self-driven Marketing Project Manager to own and lead our entire marketing function. This role isn’t about following marching orders—it’s about leading the charge. You’ll have support, guidance, and access to subject matter experts, but the strategy, execution, and momentum will depend on you.
You’ll be both the strategist and the doer. From developing content to managing vendors to reporting on what’s working (and what’s not), you’ll wear multiple hats—project manager, content creator, AI editor, and team collaborator.
You’re a fit if you:
- Thrive without micromanagement and know how to drive work forward
- Can lead strategy and execute with urgency and attention to detail
- Are a strong writer who understands how people consume content
- Know your way around Canva and have a decent eye for what looks good
- Are comfortable using AI tools but know when to gut-check and get human validation
- Can pick up technical topics (like ISO, CMMC, CMMI) using available resources
- Want to make a meaningful impact and have full ownership of a marketing engine
- Bring common sense, initiative, and good judgment to every project
Responsibilities:
Lead Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Set and revise marketing goals, structure, and roles
- Own the content strategy across all channels
- Report on marketing metrics with clear recommendations to increase lead generation
- Manage all internal marketing requests and ensure quality execution
- Track all marketing actions and deliverables
- Be the main point of contact for vendors (SEO, PR, ads, etc.) and ensure alignment
- Own marketing budget tracking, timekeeping, and invoice approvals
- Manage award submissions, content categories, and blog status
- Ensure all assets meet branding, accessibility, and security requirements (no CUI/FCI)
- Write and edit blogs, emails, and social posts (with AI support as appropriate)
- Coordinate blog calendar, post blogs on the website, and manage content flow across service lines
- Interface with web developer for updates (landing pages, resources, etc.)
- Manage our social media content and scheduling
- Coordinate press release distribution
- Update slick sheets, flyers, slide decks, etc. when changes are needed
- Manage awards (research, track, and submit applications)
